Dr Tim Crane

Senior Partner - MB ChB FRCS (Tr+Orth) MRCGP

Qualified from University of Birmingham in 1996, initially trained as an orthopaedic surgeon and then joined the practice as a registrar in 2013. He became a Partner in 2016. His interests include Musculoskeletal Medicine including joint injections and minor surgery.

Dr Kieran Tunnicliffe

Partner - MBBS BSc MRCGP DRCOG PGCert

Qualified from King’s College London in 2006 before moving to Chichester to complete his specialty training in General Practice. He joined the Witterings Medical Centre in 2010 as a Registrar and became a Partner in 2013. He is a Trainer of medical students and GP trainees. His clinical interests include palliative care and learning disabilities.

Qualified from University of Dehli India in 2002. He joined The Medical Centre as a registrar in 2009. He was made a Partner in 2011. His interests include Diabetes and Minor Surgery.

Dr Jo Galbraith

Partner - MB BS BSc MRCGP DTM&H DRCOG DFFP

Qualified from London in 2000 and joined The Medical Centre as an associate in 2006. She became a Partner in 2016. Dr Galbraith is a fully qualified GP Trainer and the Chichester area Training Programme Director.

Dr Katie Conway

MBBS BSc MRCGP

Originally from Kent, Dr Conway completed her first degree in Physiological Sciences BSc at the University of Bristol.  This inspired her to pursue a career in Medicine. She went on to complete her Medical degree at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, qualifying in 2017.  

In her spare time, she enjoys the local coast and countryside, playing tennis or enjoying what Chichester City centre has to offer.

Dr Laura Jansz

MBChB BSc MRCGP

Qualified in 2016 from the University of Leicester. She grew up locally and returned to the area to complete her GP Specialty training. Personal interests include a love of Art and enjoying coastal walks.

Dr Jansz joined the team in September 2022 and is looking forward to getting to know the Wittering's local community.

Dr Isobel Ryle

BChB MRCGP DRCOG DFSRH

Qualified from the University of Bristol in 2012 and joined the Witterings Medical Centre as a GP Registrar in 2021.  

Dr Ryle started as a Salaried GP in January 2023. 

Dr Ryle enjoys the variety that General Practice has to offer and has a special interest in women’s health. 

When she is not working she loves going exploring with her family and running in the mountains.

Advanced Clinical Practitioners

Mark Wiggins

RGN BsC (Hon), Adult Nursing Bsc (Hon), CSP DN Pathway, Independent Prescriber and Accredited with RCN for Advanced level Nursing.

Queen's Nurse

Joined the practice in 2017 and is now the Lead Nurse at WMC. Mark’s main focus and passion is those who are frail or suffer from dementia, he also leads with the care for those in the local care homes.

When not working, Mark spends most of his time with his young family, but on Wednesdays is down at his allotment and tries to be out and about enjoying nature whenever he can.

Sean France

MCPara, MSc (Paramedic Practitioner), BSc (Hons) CSP DN, RGN, Independent Prescriber

 

Sean is qualified and registered as both a Paramedic and Nurse.

Recently retired from the Royal Navy, where he managed the global deployment of medical teams, Sean joined the Practice as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner in September 2022.

His role within the Practice will predominantly involve triaging patients, either referring to the appropriate health care professional/Service or treating them himself dependant on the individuals health care needs.

Nurse Practitioners

Our nurse practitioners have undertaken further training to allow them to assess, diagnose, and treat minor illnesses. They have completed the Nurse prescribing course which allows them to write and sign prescriptions within their area of competence.

Norma Bushby

RGN Post Grad Cert Respiratory Medicine Dip HSW Dip COPD Independent Nurse Prescriber

Norma is our longest serving Nurse and has worked at WMC for over 20 years. She did retire but missed her patients so much that she returned, only for 2 days a week now. Norma's main interests are in Respiratory Conditions and Minor Illness in her triage clinics.

Outside of work she enjoys sailing on the Solent and Exotic holidays.

Amber Pople

Adult Nursing BSC (Hons)

Born, bred and living in the Witterings, Amber has fulfilled her ambition of working at the GP practice. Keen to give back to the community she loves.

Amber qualified over 10 years ago and joined us in February 2022. Amber has a keen professional interest in minor illness and catheter management.

Jo Miller

Adult Nursing BSc Hons

Treatment Room Nurse. Wound care and catheters.

Jo joined us at WMC in December 2021.  She started her nursing career in 1987 and worked in paediatrics for 5 years.  In 1995 she took a break from nursing to travel and raise a family.

In 2014, to restart her nursing career, Jo took a BSc (Hons) in Adult Nursing at the University of Surrey and worked locally as a Community Staff Nurse before becoming a Community Sister.

Jo says that you will recognise me by her unruly curly hair!

Jo has lived in Chichester for 16 years, and enjoys her gardening, with a particular interest in exotic flowers and plants.

Bridget Reading

RGN Dip Diabetes Primary Care, Dip CHD Primary Care

Bridget qualified as a nurse in 1983 from Coventry and then went on to qualify as a midwife.  She worked as a midwife for 12 years, before starting in General Practice 24 years ago. Bridget heralds from the Midlands but moved here 15 years ago and moved here to follow the love of her life.

At WMC she leads on Diabetes and General Health Promotion so don’t tell her about the donut you had for breakfast! If talking to Bridget at the surgery, a good start to any conversation is to have a blood pressure reading to give her.

Outside of work she loves walking by the sea or in the downs, plus the odd cycling.

Debbie Wigzell

RGN Dip Adult Nursing

Debbie has been a Nurse for 14 years and joined Nursing as a mature student at 40. She studied at the University of Surrey and once qualified started in Frimley Park Hospital in the MAU department and then went on to work in A & E.

Debbie’s interests include Diabetes and Women’s Health. She says that she is very proud to work at WMC and always endeavours to give our patients the very best care and attention.

Away from work, Debbie loves walking and cycling around the local area.

Helen Whitham

Helen has been with the practice since 2019.
She trained as a General Nurse in Dorset in 1985 before moving to take up a position at St Richards Hospital in 1990.
It is there that she developed a keen interest in Respiratory medicine and helped set up the first nurse led Asthma clinic.
Helen has worked in general practice for the last 20yrs. Her main interest continues to be caring for patients with both Asthma and COPD.
Outside of work Helen enjoys spending time walking in the beautiful Sussex countryside with her family and recently a new puppy.

Anne Levey

Anne, our friendly phlebotomist has worked at WMC for over 14 years and just loves taking blood, but don’t worry she is not a vampire as she wears her cross with pride. Anne also enjoys talking, but be advised that if you mention Elvis you might make her clinic run late!

Outside of work, Anne loves walking and knits hats for the premature baby unit, as well as spending time with her 6 grandchildren when she can.

Aurelija Murauskaite

Clinical Pharmacist

Aurelija carries out structured medication reviews to ensure patients get the most out of their medication.  She reconciles medicines following hospital discharge, as well as reviewing and monitoring patients with hypertension.  

Aurelija is currently working towards becoming an independent prescriber.

Under the direction of our Clinical Pharmacist, Sarah-Jane uses her acquired pharmaceutical knowledge in issuing prescriptions, audits and discharge management.

Michelle Wright

Practice Manager

Michelle is able to help you with any administrative or non-medical matters. She is also available to discuss any suggestions about our service or to help with any complaints.

Emma Szepesi

Operations Manager

Emma joined the practice in 2009 as a receptionist and has worked her way up to Operations Manager.  Emma will be able to help you with any administrative or non-medical matters. She is happy to discuss any suggestions about our service or to help with any complaints.

Emma is has completed a 2-year level 3 Assistant Practice Manager course to support this role.

Care Coordinators

Ann

 
Ann's areas of responsibility are to deal with organising annual checks for patients with asthma and COPD. Ann is also responsible for calling patients for checks on their PSA levels (prostate blood tests) and admin tasks concerned with cervical screening.  
 
Ann processes the registrations of new patients to the surgery and also ensuring mums and babies have their six week checks and inviting pre-school children for the vaccinations.

Amanda

 
Amanda supports individuals with chronic, life changing and life long conditions.  
Amanda aims to build relationships with individuals and their families and help each person by offering support and guidance. Amanda believes care, compassion and understanding are vital.

Tayla

Tayla works closely with the diabetes team to make sure all patients recieve their yearly reviews and are getting the treatment needed.

In her personal time Tayla enjoys beach walks with her spaniel, paddleboarding and listening to music or going too concerts.
