Parkrun

Chichester parkrun is a free weekly 5km event for runners of all standards, which offers an opportunity for all the local community, male or female, young or old, to come together on a regular basis to enjoy the beautiful park and get physically active.

  • Walkrunjogvolunteer or spectate – take part in any way that suits you
  • Open to all, including those who are inactive or have health conditions or disabilities
  • Takes place 09:00 every Saturday morning

The University of the Third Age

Chichester U3A is an exciting self-help movement for people in the Third Age who live in or near the City. It offers the opportunity to pursue learning for sheer enjoyment and for its own sake. It is a self-funded Educational Charity.

Chichester Junior Parkrun is a free 2km event for 4-14 year olds and their families. The event takes place every Sunday at 09:00.

Wittering Camera Club

Wittering Camera Club meet at the Sports Pavilion, Rookwood Road, West Wittering on the first and third Tuesday of the month from September to May at 19:30. Their meetings consist of a wide variety of speakers, members’ evenings, club competitions and inter-club competitions.

The Witterings Twinning Association

Since October 2000, the Witterings have been twinned with Moutiers-les- Mauxfaits in the Vendée area of France. Over the years, by facilitating regular exchanges between individuals, groups, associations and schools, they have encouraged friendship and a better cultural understanding between the ‘twinned’ villages.
